Our wines SIQUELIA wines are produced in the Valle del Belice, currently one of the best known areas of Sicily in the production of quality wines where, since always, the vine and the wine have constituted a constant presence.
The soils, mostly hilly, are characterized by gentle slopes with medium-textured soils tending to clayey where the white grape varieties are placed, the more clayey soils and tending to limestone host, instead, the red grape varieties, at a ' altitude ranging from 300 to 500 m asl, with favorable exposures to the south, south east and south west.
This area enjoys ideal microclimatic conditions with intense light, sea breezes and mild temperatures, perfect for viticulture, with the right temperature range between day and night temperatures, determining factors for the natural ripening process of the grapes and a good concentration of aromatic substances in the skins, which manage to maintain a perfect balance, remarkable elegance and unique aromas that seal the link between the wines and the territory of origin.
Chardonnay - Sicily Doc
Straw yellow color with intense aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, with notes of freshness of mint and white flowers. Medium bodied, fruity, fruity and elegant, persistent on the palate.
Vinified in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks where it rests for 5 months on its noble lees before being bottled.
Food pairing It goes well with delicate foods, with fish dishes and is also excellent with cheeses, especially if they are not very mature.
